Inkslinger Editing LLC
Inkslinger Editing LLC helps writers shape and polish their manuscripts and ready projects for publication.
The job of a developmental editor and book mentor is to help an author produce the best fiction or nonfiction manuscript possible to submit to agents, acquisition editors, or readers in any given field. For eight years, Inkslinger Editor founder Catherine Adams has mentored over 250 writers in the production of books, essays, and short stories. Catherine lays out strategies for solving problems and for building on strengths. She hones prose and strengthens voice. She poses questions to encourage clarity and reorganizes material for pacing and tension. She asks writers about their publishing goals and works diligently to see those goals met.
Inkslinger Editing works with established, emerging, and new writers of fiction and nonfiction -- from helping to plan the manuscript to polishing the final draft. Inkslinger Editing also reviews and creates materials for agent submissions, including query letters and nonfiction proposals.
Inkslinger looks forward to hearing about your project.
